My Favourite Foundation EVER ♥

Hello!
So here is my favourite foundation EVER! ♥

It is the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, and I simply LOVE it.

Why?

♦ Because it gives an amazing coverage, it covers any imperfection & you can layer it to cover blemishes.
♦ Because it "Wakes You Up"! Seriously, it makes you look like you've had more than only 2 hours of sleep last night! :P It has these little glitters (don't worry, they aren't noticeable!) that makes you glow and look fresh and well rested!
♦ It isn't cakey. So, it looks pretty natural and blends well into the skin.
♦ It's very long-lasting! It will look good all day! I personally think it almost looks better at the end of the day when it had time to really settle on the skin and fade in it.
♦ It has SPF 15, which gives you some kind of sun protection, even though I would recommend putting on a higher SPF protection on your face, especially on sunny days ☺
♦ And finally, it smells good! Haha, that's the weirdest thing to say about a foundation, but this is the first foundation that I've seen that has a real scent to it. It smells really fresh and almost like a perfume. But don't worry, the smell isn't overwhelming, it's subtle and nice.

BUT! Be careful if you have very oily skin, the shimmer in the foundation may make your oily skin look even "oilyer".

This is my cat showing you the foundation :D
Please excuse the sleepy face, he was taking his nap when I took the picture!

FYI: I am in the shade 103 "True Ivory", which is the second lightest shade I believe and it matches my skin perfectly ♥

Summer Skincare Favourites! ♥

Hello!
Here are my Summer skincare favourites! :)

So, in the summer, I'm on vacation so I normally have more time to take care of my skin, so here are just the products that I enjoy using on my skin and that make it soft & pretty.
•FYI: My skin is combination to dry: it's a little oily on the T-zone but is very dry on the cheeks, and I have little acne (thank goodness ♥).

I remove my make-up with these Garnier Rose make-up removing wipes, and these are just normal wipes, only, I really like them because they're pretty soft so they don't irritate my skin like some do (especially around the eye area). They just get the job done. BUT I then need to use this Bioderma Micellaire water to get the last traces of make-up off. Even if the make-up wipes get most of the make-up off, there is always some left and wiping my face with this Bioderma water takes off ALL of the make-up that is left and leaves my skin soft and nice-looking.

These are my two favourite facial washes. The one on the left is one I discovered this summer, it's from Lush and is the "Angels on bare skin" facial cleanser. It's pretty amazing! It looks rather odd, and the texture is funny but it smells really good (it has a strong scent of lavender). And it makes your skin super smooth. The only thing is that, due to it's texture, it can get pretty messy (it has a pretty granulated texture with pieces that won't stick together). Also, I don't know if it removes make-up because I always remove my make-up before washing my face. The other cleanser, the one on the right is the Seaweed Deep Cleansing facial Wash, and it's from the body shop. This is probably my all-time favorite face wash, I simply LOVE it. It smells amazing! At first I wasn't so sure about getting it, because seaweed doesn't seem very apealing to me, but the lady in the store convinced me to try it and now I'm in love with it! It makes sure my skin stays pretty blemish-free and makes it glow and look amazing ♥ If I had to choose one of these two, it would be the Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash, it's my FAVOURITE!

Here are my two favourite moisterizers. The one on the left is the one I tend use at night time because for me it's kinda "heavy duty". It's the Yes to Cucumbers Daily Calming Moisterizer. I love it, I put it on at night time, and wake up with a beautiful skin. It evens out my skin tone (because I tend to get some rednesses on my cheeks) and gives me a glowy skin. It feels really fresh and the cucumber smell isn't very strong so I don't mind it. The other moisterizer, the one on the right, is my Seaweed Matifying Day Cream. It's a nice moisterizer that matifies your skin, but since my skin is not that oily, I don't really need any matifying product (I don't think) and I personnally like my skin to be glowy. But it's a nice moisterizer and would be amazing for people with an oily skin. :) I still use this moisterizer as an alternative or when I run out of my Yes to Cucumbers moisterizer.

This isn't really a proper "skincare" product but it prevents me from exposing my skin in the sun to tan, so I guess it can be considered as skincare. So this is my favourite fake tan product, it is the St. Tropez self tanner. It's AMAZING! It doesn't smell weird like most self tanners, it isn't orange at all, it gives a beautiful bronze skin, and the tan it gives lasts a pretty long time. It's also super easy to apply, I bought the mitt to go with it and it really helps distrubute the product evenly on my body. Oh, and more importantly, it doesn't streak! It leaves an even, bronze tan ♥ Love it!

This is organic Rose water in a spray bottle. It's super natural, and a miracle-worker. I spray this on my face at night time, right before going to bed and wake up with a beautiful, even, glowy & soft skin. I don't know all the vertues of Rose water, but know that it makes your skin look amazing ♥

So these were all my summer skincare products ♥ I love them and try to take good care of my skin and not get too lazy!

Long time, No Post!

Hello!
Long time, no post! I'm sorry, I've been pretty busy this last week and am still going to be the following weeks/month. It's summer, what d'you expect!? Just kidding, but seriously, I didn't expect myself to be so busy while being on holiday. And when I mean busy, it's not doing anything super-productive, but spending time with friends/family and being away from home a lot.

Anyways! Enough rambling!

This is a picture I took from my phone (so sorry if the quality isn't the best) but we were watching fireworks with some friends and I managed to take this photo. I really like it. :)

I'm sorry if my last few posts were mainly non-beauty/fashion related, but expect some soon ♥

♥ Week-End Trip ♥

Hello!

This is kind of a "special" post, it's not about beauty or fashion, it's just about my trip this week-end! So this week-end I visited this really cute city! And I took loads of photos, so I'm just going to post some of them. ♥

The architecture in this city made it seem like we were traveling back in time to the Middle Age! It was AMAZING!

This is a cat we "met" while walking down a small street, he's so cute and was sooo friendly. ♥

On sunday, people were out in the streets selling their old things, and it was amazing walking down these timeless streets full of antiques!

Well, sorry if this post was mainly photos, but I found this city so pretty that I just had to take loads of photos and share them ♥
I also would like to apologize if I took a picture of your front door, but it was just too charming!

♥ Shopping: Brandy Melville! ♥

Hello!

So last week-end I went shopping at Brandy Melville. It was my first time shopping there and I have to say, the shop itself looks amazing. It's a vintage style shop and every detail is vintage and crafty: the hangers were wrapped in pieces of fabrics, the walls had vintage pictures on them, everything looked great! But there was a TON of people inside and the shop was pretty small so it was kind of uncomfortable. I loved the style of the clothes and found a few pieces I really liked so I bought them!
By the way, I went there with my sister and we are just about the same size and height so everything she bought, I'm going to get to wear too! But I'm only showing you guys the pieces I personnaly bought :)

I found this cute crop top and fell instantly in love with it. I guess it's because it reminds me of the little village in the country in which my grand-parents live. I don't know why it reminds me of that (maybe because of the little flowers?) but I really like it. I don't have any other top that has this kind of floral pattern, I find it very sweet and I see myself wearing it on a stroll in the country side (I need to stop thinking I live in a film!).

I then came accross this dress, and loved the tribal-styled pattern on it. And I of course loved the cut-out on the back, I am in fact, a MASSIVE cut-out fan, I love anything with a pretty cut-out in the back. The downside of this dress is that it is VERY short, so I need to find a way to make it work. The thing about Brandy Melville is that it makes clothes in one size only so you can't find longer dresses or anything. I don't really like the fact that this brand makes clothes in one size only because I find it "discriminating" to some people, but I fit in these clothes so...

I then saw this maxi skirt, and maxi skirts are always trendy during the summer, so I thought I needed one. It's only the second maxi skirt that I have purchased so I took a simple black one. On top of liking maxi skirts, I really like the rip this one has on the side, it makes it more original. And I thought that this skirt would look good with the flowery crop top I also bought.

I finally found this top thing (I don't know how you call this kind of top, a bandeau?). And saw the stripes in the back and loved them, how original, right? I have a lot of tank tops that have huge cuts for the arms or go very low in the back so I thought that would go really well under these kinds of tops.

Well that was my shopping trip at Brandy Melville :)

P.S.: All the pictures were taken by me

Favorite Eyeliner (that deserves more attention!)

Hello.
Well I have this eyeliner that I absolutly adore and I've never really seen any good feedback about it on the internet. Either I've never come accross one, or there just isn't any. Anyways I really wanted to give my opinion on this eyeliner because I simply think it is one of the best!
I have tried a lot of different eyeliners and I've always come back to this one. I've always found the others to be too runny or too dark. We've all had that eyeliner that is so liquid it streams down to your waterline when you apply it, right? Or is it just me? Also, I have tried some eyeliners that were just too dark. And although I have dark lashes, the black was so intense that it didn't look the tiniest bit natural (even though eyeliner doesn't always look natural).

Anyways, enough rambling!
My favorite eyeliner is the L'Oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision (it is a liquid eyeliner).

And I have several reasons for liking it so much:
- First of all, it was the first eyeliner I tried and it is amazing for BEGINNERS. If you aren't very comfortable at applying eyeliner on your upper lid, then this eyeliner is your best friend (Tip: let the eyeliner "brush" rest on your lashes while applying it so you get a straight line)! It is perfect for beginners who make mistakes (and trust me, you will make a lot of them at the beginning), because it is easy to wipe away. (Tip: if you make a mistake with this eyeliner, simply take a Q-tip and wipe that mistake away).

- It is just easy to apply, the "brush" is just the right size. It is big enough that you don't have a hard time making at straight and even line, and small enough to make a nice thin line!

- On top of that, it stays put all day. You can have a long day at school or work and it will not budge. BUT, it doesn't like water. If you get water on it or if you cry, it will stream away, and it's not pretty. (Don't worry, rain shouldn't do anything to it, except if you stay under the rain all day). I once laughed so hard that I started crying, and I finished the day with no eyeliner...

Well that is all I have to say about it! I really love it and use it everyday, I've probably repurchased it 5 times!
That tells you how much I'm fond of it.

Also I have tried that same exact eyeliner in "intense black" and that black is too intense for me!

P.S.: This post is mainly for liquid eyeliners, although I prefer it to any other eyeliner, regardless of their texture (liquid, gel... etc).

♥ P.S.: All the pictures were taken by me
